Spiders

Spiders comes in many colors, shapes, and sizes, but all of them share a talent for ending up in places they don’t belong. Sometimes, you might even encounter one inside your own home, spinning a web to trap its next meal. Most species are harmless to humans, but might not stop the panic that sets in once you find one in your bedroom. These pests tend to feed on smaller insects that might have already invaded your home, so it’s always a good idea to schedule an inspection with a licensed pest control specialist to make sure your home is safe and secure from pesky arachnids or other harmful insects.

Types of spiders range from the common garden spider to the non-native Jorō spider, and there’s countless types in-between. For more information about these pests, visit Clemson’s Home & Garden Information Center.
